Patricia Yang, Editor-in-Chief

A U.S. citizen at birth, my family roots harken back to Asia. Born in Illinois, I’ve since lived in Michigan, Canada, Indonesia, Iowa, Indiana, and now Virginia. I love all things related to art, whether that is drawing, music, literature, drama, and writing. My greatest aspiration is to become an author — distantly hoping I can even just somewhat reach the skill level of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

Having grown up moving multiple times in various locations — both in the western and eastern hemisphere — I grew up loving all sorts of adventures and experiences. From there, I’ve come to appreciate hearing everyone’s stories. My love for reading and storytelling overall only emphasizes this passion of mine. I am very excited to continue sharing stories through the Chimes.
