I’m from Downey, California and have lived there since I was five. I love reading, writing, singing, and playing video games whenever I can. Though I am not a design or fashion major, I love wearing academia and professional outfits, so more often than not I can be seen wearing something of the sort. My favorite music right now is EPIC, a concept musical by Jorge Rivera-Herrans, which is based on the Odyssey by Homer.

Ever since I was in middle school I’ve wanted to pursue a career in the legal profession, and had a wonderful opportunity to work with judges and attorneys while in high school. This experience has fueled my desire to attend law school and become an attorney, representing minors that commit crimes or misdemeanors. I aspire to help them and have the chance to get them on the right path again to help break the cycle of crime at a young age. I’m excited to be the politics editor for The Chimes this year alongside my major in Political Science.
