Goodbye from the chief
The problem with print journalism is that it never goes away. Online, I can wipe away a blog post into oblivion. An editor can strike out a typo or a misspelling on an article and pretend it never happened.

What’s so bad about a little cuss word?
I have to admit, I have had a few choice words when I am upset. I have cursed everything from my laptop to my own idiocy when I forget something important. I am sure most of us, although I am making a conjecture, have at one time or another cursed out loud or in our minds.

Saying goodbye — and roommate tension at Ikea
It's official. I have decided to move out of my old apartment. Strangely, despite their own consideration to move, my roommates have taken the initiative to fill our apartment with new furniture from Ikea, which as far as home furnishing goes is one step below Legos, yet one step above Mega Blocks.

Global warming: A valid concern
The fallacy of generalization happens quite often. It is not uncommon, while standing with a group of friends, to hear someone say something like “all chick flicks are so ushy-gushy, I can’t stand ’em.” At the risk of overanalyzing small-time comments, it is quite common for generalizations to become the socially accepted definition of a term.
Case in point: global warming.

Birds of a feather
I have only ever eaten duck once. On the other hand, I have had numerous experiences visiting the nearby public park and realizing I have nowhere to sit due to the plethora of duck poop on every bench. With this in mind there has always been a vast incongruousness to the give-and-take relationship between the ducks and me: I don't eat nearly enough duck to justify my consistent lack of benches. I thought we had a deal. Instead, I'm getting robbed. Robbed by poultry.
