Hours after the Fullerton Fire burned two acres at the Brea Dam, the Castlewood Fire broke out in Fullerton, which has burned 15 acres so far. According to the Orange County Register, a brush fire began near Gilbert Street and Castlewood Drive, which is five miles or an 11-minute drive from campus. CBS Los Angeles reports the fire erupted around 7:40 p.m.

According to the Fullerton Police Department, Gilbert Street is closed from Rosecrans Avenue to Imperial Highway.
FFD and FPD are on-scene of another brush fire in the area of Gilbert & Castlewood.
Homes in the immediate area are being evacuated. If you need to be evacuated, you will be contacted by officers.
