Embracing the Biola greenhouse
Is Biola a bubble or a greenhouse? Well, that depends on your perspective and attitude, because in essence a greenhouse is a bubble with a purpose. This leads me to ask what the purpose of a greenhouse is. It is a place of cultivation that is safe from outside harm and allows the sun’s rays and heat to create a controlled atmosphere for growth.

Obama sending mixed messages
The Democratic National Convention was just a of couple weeks ago, and the senator from my home state of Illinois, Barack Obama, made American history by just standing and talking at the podium. Although Obama is a great orator — something the White House has been missing for at least eight years — I think many people have become distracted by his rhetoric and forget to analyze what is, exactly, the message that he wants to get across.
