Noah Kahan’s unreleased album, “The Great Divide,” has been wildly anticipated by fans since May of 2024. Utilizing secret TikTok accounts and previewing unreleased songs at his live shows, Kahan facilitated buzz among his supporters, dubbed “the bugs.” Kahan finally released a track off the album named “The Great Divide” on Jan. 30, 2026. The song introduces the overarching themes of the album, such as religious trauma, misunderstood relationships and painful realizations. The full album release will happen on April 24, 2026, and the tour begins on June 11 in Orlando, FL.
THE BUSYHEAD PROJECT
Besides Noah Kahan’s achievements as an artist, what appeals to the soul is his heart for others. The Busyhead Project is a mental health initiative started by Kahan in 2023. Kahan has a passion for spreading awareness and resources regarding mental health.
“If I can help anyone get through their struggles, it will be the proudest achievement of my career,” he said.
The Busyhead website is home to an interactive wall of encouragement and testimonials as well as other valuable resources. Kahan has never approached the topic of mental health shyly and offers himself up emotionally naked to the listeners of his music (27+ million monthly listeners).
THE GREAT DIVIDE TOUR
Tickets for “The Great Divide” tour became available to the general public on Feb. 12 through Seated. Kahan is traveling with popular artist Gigi Perez from the East to the West Coast.
“I am so excited that the Great Divide is out and that we’re announcing the summer tour. If you know me, you know how much I love playing for y’all,” Kahan stated in his video announcement.
Portions from each ticket sale will go towards the Busyhead Project. If you are one of the last bugs or even just a lover of folk, Kahan is an artist worth your time.
