On Wednesday, April 16, for the first time, the Caf served a homestyle Easter meal, to celebrate the upcoming Easter holiday and resurrection. Students were given a plate full of freshly carved, pineapple-glazed ham, with options for sides like mac and cheese, steamed vegetables, garlic butter-brushed rolls and cauliflower salad. The ham and rolls were standouts, with the salad and mac and cheese not being very unique from any other caf day. There were delicious dessert options, like carrot cake, and my personal favorite, apple and berry cobblers. The spread of food, along with groups of students sitting together and enjoying company, made for a great countdown celebration to Easter.
