Trespassing – Metzger Hall

Reported on March 11, occurred on March 11 at 2 p.m.

A person not connected to the university was bothering staff in Metzger Hall and Campus Safety officers removed him from campus. The case has been cleared by exception.

Hit and Run – Emerson Parking (Lot L)

Reported on March 11, occurred between March 10 at 10:30 p.m. and March 11 at 12 p.m. 

A student’s vehicle was damaged in a hit and run. The case has been referred to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Petty Theft – Blackstone Hall

Reported on March 11, occurred on March 11 at 7:13 p.m.

A student found their room unlocked and select personal items missing. Their belongings were returned and the case has been cleared with no follow-up necessary.

Petty Theft – Rosecrans Apartment 5

Reported on March 14, occurred between March 12 at 7 p.m. and March 13 at 6:40 a.m.

A resident of the Rosecrans apartment reported an unlocked bicycle missing. The case remains active.

Vehicle Theft – El Espejo Road

Reported on March 15, occurred on March 15 between 3:11 and 3:25 a.m.

A vehicle was reported stolen near the off-campus apartments. The case remains active.

Tampering with a Vehicle – Rosecrans Ave

Reported on March 17, occurred on March 16 at 9:07 p.m.

A student’s car had been tampered with, but nothing was stolen. The case remains active.

Vehicle Theft – Rosecrans Ave

Reported on March 21, occurred between March 20 at 8 p.m. and March 21 at 8:30 a.m.

A student’s vehicle was reported stolen, but it was recovered by the Whittier Police Department. The vehicle sustained damage and some items were stolen. The case remains active with no current suspects.

Petty Theft – Myers Hall

Reported on March 23, occurred before March 23 at 7:36 a.m.

A vending machine was broken into in Myers Hall. The case remains active.
