  • Senior Kelsey Seitz, AS vice president of services, requested to change the titles of two AS positions. She proposed changing her own to vice president of events and programming, and, on behalf of senior Amanda Tegtmeier, changing AS Social Board chair to Social Board event manager. Additionally, Seitz requested that the group title of those two positions be changed to events and programming board. She cited the fact that the current titles do not accurately reflect the corresponding jobs, specifically when communicating with people outside Biola.

Senators observed that if the proposal was not passed, the conference likely would not take place.Junior Heather Hoffman, Hope South senator, said she believed passing the proposal would also increase awareness for the conference, which will take place Feb. 25-26.
