BARRY SWEEPS BIOLA

Barry won the doubles matches, giving them an early head start — one that Biola would not overcome. Each matchup of the day the Buccaneers earned a decent margin. On the singles court, sophomore Alexandria Mann scored the most out of any Eagle with three points, which was still not enough to top Barry’s six points. Junior Gaby Carvajal jumped out to a 2-1 lead but fell 6-2 to her opponent. In addition, two matches were left unfinished after the Buccaneers’ shutout.

Up next, Biola will welcome Hawaii Hilo on Tuesday, March 14 at 1 p.m.. Stats from the match can be found on the Biola Athletics website.
