CLOSE, BUT NOT QUITE

Junior outfielder Sicili Brittingham singled through to the right side allowing junior outfielder Jennifer Morinishi to score the second run of the game. At the bottom of the first, CUI scored a run, bringing the total to 2-1 Biola.
The second inning saw no runs scored for either team. Bottom of the third, CUI scored three more runs, pushing them ahead of Biola 2-4. The Eagles, fighting to win, pushed the first game into the 10th inning before losing to the Golden Eagles when their free base runner scored in the international tiebreaker 4-5.
NOT ENOUGH

The first inning went scoreless, but CUI quickly jumped on the leaderboard with a score of one run at the bottom of the second.
