On Feb. 17, Azusa Pacific University received a series of “suspicious messages of a threatening nature,” including a bomb threat according to their website. Police placed roadblocks around campus, but students at any APU campuses throughout Southern California were instructed to evacuate as well.

Although APU has chosen to remain closed as a campus, students who are still living in on-campus housing were instructed to shelter in place.

As of 7 p.m., no explosives were found but the police department is still treating the email as a credible threat.
