I wasn’t done. Sitting and talking, learning and growing, being mentored by such a good and faithful servant to the “Good Lord.” Simon was a man who lived out the message of the Gospel daily. He didn’t just talk about death, but he talked about life after death. How joyful he’d be the day he got to dance and sing with the Lord. He finished the race and what an example he left for us, we keep going and when we reach the end what a cheerleader I know he’ll be! What an honor and privilege to have had him in my life as a teacher and friend these last three years.
