A: “Counseling and adoption. Diversity. I grew up on the mission field in South America, which is kind of the whole diversity thing. And I have two younger adopted brothers. I love writing and art.”
Q: WHEN AND HOW DID YOU START BECOMING PASSIONATE ABOUT IT?
A: “Probably just all through growing up. I kind of saw the need for understanding diversity in different cultures. And also, obviously when my parents adopted my two brothers, I saw the need for adoption and how little that it’s seen. So [it] just kind of became something that I wanted to get out there in the world and show people.”
Q: HOW DOES YOUR PASSION MAKE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
A: “It gives me a reason to study what I’m studying and to pursue what I want to do, just because I see that it greatly benefits people’s lives, right off the bat.”
Q: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW YOU FOR IN 10 YEARS?
A: “I would want to be known for someone that God has used in ways to even just change, not even huge numbers of people’s lives, but change people’s lives significantly.”
