Sunday: Procrastinate just a little longer on the week’s homework and capitalize on Applebee’s half off appetizers from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. The grilled chipotle chicken and freshly-made pico de gallo on the chicken quesadilla are dealmakers Sunday through Thursday.

Monday: Even though Del Taco’s e-mail club isn’t aggressively chic, when they give away two free chicken tacos just for signing up, we’re there. No single word catches a college student’s ear faster than free, right? That’s what we’re talkin’ ‘bout. Click on over to the Del Taco web site and sign up for the club. Once you get the e-mail voucher, just unsubscribe if you don’t want to be pestered by further e-mails.

Tuesday: What’s Tuesday without tacos? Rubio’s fish tacos are $1.25 after 2:30 p.m. Drop by Baskin Robbins for dollar dip day on your way to the dollar theatre where, on Tuesdays, the movies are only – surprise! – a dollar.

Wednesday: Molcasalsa has the monopoly on 99-cent breakfast burritos. Arrive before the 11 a.m cut off if you want one, because you might have to wait in line. The line between breakfast and lunch just got more ambiguous.

Thursday: This deal is perfect for all the non-committal Biola boys. Why settle for an entrée when you can have a buffet? Sign up for Old Country Buffet, HomeTown Buffet or Country Buffet’s e-mail list to get a free buffet meal. And if you’re a real winner, have one of your chicas subscribe, too.

Friday: Taco truck runs are a SoCal cultural ritual, so for you out-of-staters, getting 75-cent tacos from an authentic taco truck is a must-do. Soul doesn’t come at the expense of price at the taco truck on the corner of Leffingwell and Telegraph. Show up after 6:30 and spice up your night with some authentic Mexicana.

Saturday: We’re so excited about this deal, we’re going to make Professor Aanderud from Spanish 201 proud and put exclamation points at the beginning and end of it. ¡Free Wienerschnitzel chili dog! Sign up for the exceedingly exclusive (no one else is a part of it) e-club and they’ll e-mail you a voucher. Print it out, unsubscribe and repeat at will.
