A hit and run, disturbing the peace and trespassing make up this week’s crime log.

Disturbing the Peace ― Inner Campus

Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m.

A professor complained about a loud practice session coming from Metzger Lawn in preparation for Torrey Memorial Bible Conference. An officer approached and found out the practice would be ending soon and relayed this information to the professor.

Trespassing ― Lot N (Powerplant)

Oct. 13, 8:45 p.m.

An officer noticed an individual wandering in the parking lot and told him to leave. The individual left without any further confrontation.

Trespassing ― Rosecrans Apartments (14339 Rosecrans Ave.)

Oct. 14, 10:45 a.m.

An officer spotted an individual loitering in the parking lot behind the apartments and told the individual to leave. The individual left without any further confrontation.

Disturbing the Peace ― Metzger Lawn

Oct. 14, 8:12 p.m.

A resident called Biola University and complained about the worship service during Torrey Conference. The resident was told the session would end shortly and no further contact was made.

Hit and Run: Property Damage ― Lot G (Lower Campus)

Reported Oct. 15, occurred on Oct. 14, 8:30 a.m.

An individual noticed their car had a scrape. They filed a report with Campus Safety and the investigation is ongoing.
