Crime Log: April 25 – May 3

This week’s crime long consists of disturbing the peace.

Disturbing the peace ― Myers Hall

April 25, 12:46 p.m.

Campus Safety received a call from someone in Myers about yelling on Biola Avenue. An officer responded to the call, but found no disturbance.

Disturbing the peace — Track and Field

April 30, 8:11 p.m.

Campus Safety personnel working the Cost of Freedom event reported loud noise from the locker room, disturbing the event. An officer discovered it was from the children in the swimming program and asked them to quiet down.

Disturbing the peace — Chase Gymnasium

April 30, 8:35 p.m.

A Campus Safety officer reported about loud noise from the soccer field, disturbing the Cost of Freedom event. The students reduced their noise upon the officer’s arrival.

Disturbing the peace ― Hope Hall

May 1, 1:52 a.m.

A student complained about people playing on the basketball court after hours. The students were gone when the officer arrived.

Disturbing the peace ― Off campus

May 3, 12:25 a.m.

Students complained about a loud truck driving around Biola Avenue and other nearby streets. The officer was unable to locate the truck when he arrived in the area.

Disturbing the peace ― Tradewinds Apartments

May 3, 1:45 a.m.

A resident complained about other residents talking loudly outside of their apartment. The individuals left before the officer’s arrival.
