Crime Log: Nov. 18 — Nov. 30

Sexual battery, a hit and run, and possession of alcohol make up this week’s crime log.

The crime log has been updated to include incidents occuring between November 18-30. 

 

SEXUAL BATTERY: FORCIBLE FONDLING — HOPE HALL

Reported on Nov. 19; occurred on Nov. 15, 8:00 p.m.

A student was reported as inappropriately touching another student. It was reported to Campus Safety by student development and an officer asked the individual to leave.

HIT AND RUN: PROPERTY DAMAGE — STEWART PARKING LOT

Nov. 19, between 12:00 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.

A student parked in the Stewart parking lot came back to their vehicle and found out that someone hit their car. It is still an open investigation.

DISTURBING THE PEACE — HART HALL

Nov. 20, 7:31 p.m.

A complaint came from Hart about loud noise that sounded like jack hammering. Officers couldn’t find the source of the noise.

PETTY THEFT — ROSECRANS APARTMENTS

Reported on Nov. 20; occurred Nov. 15, prior to 2:08 p.m.

Some items were stolen from the courtyard area at the Rosecrans apartments. It remains an active investigation.

DISTURBING THE PEACE — THOMPSON HALL

Nov. 23, 3:09 a.m.

A complaint was called in from Thompson about people in the next room talking and laughing loudly. Officers made contact and told them to keep it down.

DISTURBING THE PEACE — HORTON PARKING LOT M

Nov. 25, 2:29 p.m.

There was a noise complaint about a car alarm going off. When the officer arrived, the noise had stopped.

MINOR POSSESSING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE — SIGMA

Reported on Nov. Nov. 25, 11:49 p.m; occurred on Nov. 7 at 11:49 p.m.

An underage student with alcohol was reported to campus safety. Student development is handling the situation.

DISTURBING THE PEACE — HOPE HALL

Nov. 30, 7:38 p.m.

There was a noise complaint for loud music coming from a dorm room. Officers had them turn down the music.
