The small chain, with four shops in Seattle, was giving away free espresso drinks while the world's largest gourmet coffee retailer shuts its doors. Starbucks stores closed for three-hour nationwide training sessions Tuesday evening, leaving caffeine junkies to look elsewhere for their fix.
