Hi! I’m Izzy Putney, a senior English major with an emphasis in Creative Writing, as well as a part of the Torrey Honors College program, studying at Biola University. I am from the East Bay in California, in a little city called San Ramon, but I currently reside in La Mirada California. I have been an avid reader and writer for the majority of my life, adoring the beauty of creating worlds with words and immersing myself within them. I love to write poetry, as well as stories that bring truth to light for those to read, particularly the kinds of stories which convict the hearts of those who know and love the Lord or perhaps don’t realize how much they need Him. I am currently a staff writer for the Arts & Entertainment department of The Chimes, and I hope to bring interactive and touching stories to the hearts of those at Biola.
