On Sunday, April 27, the painting of a new mural was spotted on a wall beside the library and behind the Health Center. Alisha Mark, sophomore painting and illustration major, and Lily Guild, sophomore painting major, are the artists behind this new piece. They are part of the Creation Care Club, decorating the prayer garden and the mural is also part of Mark’s Torrey Project.
The mural is inspired by the Good Shepherd in Psalm 23 and the mustard seed parable. Jesus is seen sowing seeds and looking into a large, sturdy mustard tree (as seen in the background).
