Last night, April 14 at Ethel Lee auditorium, Biola students and guests joined voices with Christians from the second century A.D., singing the oldest hymn in recorded history. In partnership with the Talbot School of Theology, the Malcolm Initiative hosted John Dickson of Wheaton College for the world premiere of his First Hymn Project documentary. The event also featured a corporate singing of “The First Hymn,” led by co-writer Ben Fielding and joined by Taya Gaukrodger. You can listen to “The First Hymn” by Chris Tomlin and Ben Fielding on Spotify.
