On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the Biola Entrepreneurship Society (BES) held a Pitch and Pizza event, where participants teamed up to practice their pitching skills. Each team delivered a one-minute pitch tailored to a different target market. Afterward, club leaders provided feedback and attendees voted on the best pitch.
BES vision, according to vice president Angel Martinez, is to create “a community of innovative thinkers from all majors to offer support and guidance to redemptive entrepreneurs.” President Audrey Gerald added that it is “a space for people to express their creativity through entrepreneurship,” while also serving as a place to practice public speaking.
Founded in 2021, BES meets once a month in the Office of Innovation.
