Crime Log ― March 9 – March 21

This crime log includes instances of theft and a hit and run.

Petty Theft ― Blackstone Hall

Reported March 9 at 8:43 p.m., occurred March 7 between 10:30 and 11:15 p.m.

A student reported to Campus Security that a bag was stolen from Blackstone Hall, two days after the initial disappearance. The case remains active.

Petty Theft ― Tennis Courts

Reported March 14 at 4:22 p.m., occurred between 10:45 a.m. and 4:20 p.m.

A Biola staff member reported that a jacket and a few other items went missing at the tennis courts during a match. The case remains active.

Grand Theft Auto ― Block Apartments

Reported March 21 at 8:11 a.m., occurred between March 20 at 9 p.m. and March 21 at 7 a.m.

A student’s car was stolen overnight while parked in front of the off-campus apartments on Rosecrans Avenue. Details of the theft continue to be investigated and the case was referred to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

Hit and Run ― Bluff Apartments

Reported March 21 at 10:12 a.m. occurred prior.

A student found their car scraped and damaged upon return to the vehicle. The car was hit while parked and the case remains active.
