Questions to ask yourself:
Am I overwhelmed with feelings of fear, uncertainty or a negative attitude?
Do I hold unrealistic expectations for myself and others?
Do I suffer from headaches, fatigue or poor concentration?
Do I often feel irritable, depressed, isolated, and resentful?

If you answered “yes” to one or more of these, there is a good chance that YOU ARE STRESSED.

What’s stressing you?
There is so much around us and within us that causes unrest. External irritations such as major life changes, a change of environment or relationship struggles consume our thoughts, not to mention all of the internal battles of fear, negative attitudes and uncertainty.

How to de-stress
Let’s face it: we are control freaks. We try to control everything around us, including other people, and when things do not go our way we becomes victims of stress. We need to spend more time focusing on the things we can control and less time worrying about those we can’t. Once we can manage to identify this, we will in turn experience fewer physical and emotional responses such as pain and anger. We will have more energy, better concentration and a greater ability to handle legitimate stress when it comes.
