A United Postal Service semitruck backed into a light pole between Lot I and the baseball field Friday around 2:15 p.m., severely tipping it and forcing Campus Safety to block off one side of the road.

A United Postal Service semi-truck backed up into a light pole between Lot I and the baseball field Friday around 2:15 p.m., severely tipping it and forcing Campus Safety to block off one side of the road.

Officers on scene refused to comment further, asking that questions be directed to Campus Safety’s media relation person, who had yet to be informed of the incident.
