During the Student Government Association meeting, Chris Johnson, campaign marketing manager, discussed ideas for how to differently and successfully run Giving Tuesday this year. Johnson hopes the day will impact more students, in comparison to last year’s raising of $124,066 for 124 students. To accomplish this feat, advancement wants to increase the amount of money in the Biola Fund, which lowers the cost of every student’s tuition. In essence, with more money in the Biola Fund, each student would pay less for tuition.

Lastly, the senators received their iPads from a proposal passed last year. Each senator has their own iPad to use for taking notes and surveys during their weekly rounds.
