To continue preparing for the workings of the semester, the Student Government Association talked through executive board updates.
Brandon Berz, vice president of finance, technology and HR, presented the amount in the contingency fund as $85, 941.15. Berz again did not present the proposal for the New York Times subscription due to needing the final number of copies Biola would be receiving from them.
Another announcement included the hiring of two first-year interns, whose roles entail working five hours a week to prepare resources for senators to use in their interactions with constituents.
Open proposals will take place on Sept. 15 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Andrews Banquet Hall.
