Jessica Yee, junior biochemistry major, has been hired as the new East Block senator. The senate also released a new vision and mission statement on their “About SGA” page.

VOTING

All sections of the spring semester budget, proposed last week, passed in the full amount of $77,051 in a unanimous vote.

The budget for other accounts, including The Chimes, The Biolan, Global Student Programs and Development, Multi-Ethnic Programs and Development and Student Programming and Activities passed in the full amount of $287,449 in a unanimous vote.

The next senate meeting will be on Thursday Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
