Crime Log: March 25, 2014

A hit and run and petty theft make up this week’s crime log.

Hit and run, property damage — Lot G (Stewart Hall)

Reported March 21; occurred between March 16 at 6 p.m. and March 21 at 9:30 a.m.

A student reported that their vehicle had been scraped during the time it was parked in Lot G. The damage is under investigation.

Petty Theft — Crowell Hall

Reported March 21; occurred between March 20 at 3 p.m. and March 21 at 1:30 p.m.

A bicycle left unlocked outside Crowell Hall was stolen, a student reported. The theft is under investigation.

Disturbing the Peace — Lot S (Parking Structure)

Reported March 19 at 5:49 p.m.

Hope Hall residents called in a noise complaint about a student playing guitar with an amplifier in the parking structure. An officer made contact and asked the student to stop, and he complied.

Disturbing the Peace — Lot S (Parking Structure)

Reported March 18 at 12:38 a.m.

Neighbors reported loud noise coming from the fourth floor of the parking structure. An officer made contact and asked the students who were making noise to be quiet, and they complied.
