A QUICK START

The men took off from the very beginning and did not give Bethesda a chance to recover. Biola quickly took the lead in the first half and had a 10-point lead seven minutes into the game. The Eagles obtained their largest lead of the game in the last ten minutes of the second half with a 33 point difference. Biola continued to convert turnovers into points and finished the game with 25 points from turnovers alone.

Junior guard Pierre Zook scored a total of 17 points, with 15 of those points coming from outside the field. Senior forward Andre Murillo and junior forward Mike Kurtz dominated on the inside and each finished the game with 14 points.

The men are now 7-4 for this season while the women are 1-10. The women have a break and will return to the court to play against Vancouver Island University at 3 p.m on Dec. 31 at home. The men will play Pacific Union College at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
