The men and women’s golf teams competed in their final tournament for the fall season. The men finished the tournament in last place and the women finished fifth out of eight.

The men had a tough time on the first day of the tournament and came in eighth out of 10 teams. The Eagles were dead last for the majority of the first day but came out of that in the second round to finish eighth for the day. Senior Max Allen and sophomore William Langworthy both shot a 79 on the course, which put both of them 10 strokes behind the leader of the day Preston Valder from UCLA.

The second day, the men fell back into last place. Langworthy had the best score at the end of the day with an 82. He and Allen tied again for 45th place.

The women came in sixth out of eight teams on the first day. Senior Jackie Mata ended the day 15 strokes away from the lead with a round of 89. Her final score for the day put her in 18th place.

On the second day of the tournament, the women came together to improve their overall team stroke to push past Northern New Mexico to secure fifth place.

Senior Megan Anderson improved her score from the previous day and dropped eight strokes, from 98 to 90. She placed 27th individually. Mata tied for 14th place with an overall score of 174.

Biola finished their fall season and will continue again in the spring.
