Disturbing the peace, a stolen bike tire, and a hit and run make up this week’s crime log.

Petty Theft — La Mirada Apartments

Oct. 11, 3:36 p.m.
An unsecured bicycle was stolen from its stored location. The case is still being investigated by Campus Safety.

Petty Theft — Horton Hall

Oct. 13, 6:49 p.m.
A student’s clothes were stolen and have not been recovered. The incident is currently under investigation.

Grand Theft — Track and Field

Reported on Oct. 14, occurred on Oct. 13 between 8:40 and 9 p.m.
An unknown suspect stole a cell phone from the track. Campus Safety filed a report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Disturbing the Peace — Hope Hall

Oct. 14, 9:33 p.m.
A group of students in Hope Hall were admonished by Campus Safety for making too much noise.

Disturbing the Peace — Alpha Hall

Oct. 15, 1:01 a.m.
Several students in Alpha Hall were told by Campus Safety to quiet down because they were being too loud past quiet hours.

Hit and Run: Property Damage — Lot B, Sutherland Hall

Oct. 15 between 9 a.m. and 1:40 p.m.
An unidentified suspect damaged a car and did not come forward. Campus Safety is still investigating the incident.

Petty Theft — Rosecrans Apartment Two, 14345 Rosecrans

Reported on Oct. 17, occurred between Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 17 at 8 a.m.
A bicycle wheel was stolen, leaving the bicycle at its original location. The wheel was found by Campus Safety on a nearby block and returned to its owner.

Petty Theft — Rosecrans Apartment Two, 14345 Rosecrans

Reported on Oct. 17, occurred between Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. and Oct. 17 at 7:22 a.m.
An unsecured bicycle was stolen from one of the graduate apartments. Campus Safety filed a theft report with LASD.
