Petty Theft — Hart Hall

A recent theft is being actively investigated by Campus Safety and cannot be commented on, according to Justin Shelby, Campus Safety public information officer.

Disturbing the Peace — Horton Hall

12:21 a.m.

Campus Safety received a complaint about students making noise outside Horton Hall. Officers told students to quiet down and the complaint was resolved.

Disturbing the Peace — Tropicana Apartments

10:17 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of music playing too loudly in another apartment unit. The students in question complied with the officers’ request to turn down the volume.

Disturbing the Peace — Sigma Hall

Sept. 22, 2013
12:57 a.m.

A complaint was called in to Campus Safety regarding students being too loud outside Sigma Hall. The students obeyed when asked to quiet down.

Grand Theft — Sigma Hall

Sept. 22, 2013
Between 10:20 and 10:45 p.m.

Campus Safety’s investigation into a grand theft in Sigma Hall is ongoing and officers cannot comment on the matter until it is resolved, Shelby said.

Vandalism — Chase Gymnasium

Prior to 11:49 p.m.

Reports of graffiti on bleachers were filed with Campus Safety. The graffiti is believed to have been someone’s initials etched with a white paint pen. The case has not yet been resolved.
