Women’s volleyball extended their win streak to 18 games with a straight set win over San Diego Christian College Tuesday night. Biola improved to 19-1 overall and 6-0 in Golden State Athletic Conference play.
The Eagles dominated in the first set, rolling the Hawks 25-11. In the second set Biola blew open the door, winning 25-9.
In the final set, San Diego closed the gap some, but the Eagles still won 25-17 to take the match.
It was the ninth straight 3-0 win for the Eagles; the last time they lost a set was on Sept. 1 against NAIA No. 3 Lee University, whom they beat 3-1.
Biola’s next match is on Saturday against NAIA No. 2 Concordia University Irvine in a highly anticipated GSAC match.
