Biola’s baseball team continued their winning streak today by beating Concordia twice in their double header, 9-3 the first game and 7-4 the second one. Junior Kevin Ryan had an impressive day from the mound as he pitched eight solid innings in the first game. This incredible defensive outing by Ryan allowed the rest of his team to get the offense going as they scored 9 runs. Senior Brian Loard had a big part to play offensively as he hit two home runs, one in each game.

After winning today’s games, Biola is looking unstoppable with a winning streak of eleven straight GSAC games. They continue their season Monday, April 4 against Vanguard University. The last time these two teams met it was a close game with Biola coming out on top 9-8, but if they win, they will have an opportunity to extend their streak.
