Phil Wickham was the featured artist for chapel on March 7, drawing a crowd of students eager and ready to praise the Lord. Considering it was a Friday morning chapel, the gym was unusually packed, with one of the biggest Friday turnouts all semester.

Chapel on March 7 was one of the largest Friday crowds seen all semester, according to CJ Casciotta, AS Chapel Board Chair. With the stage set and an introduction by President Corey, Phil Wickham took the stage. As the enthusiastic Biola crowd cheered him on, Phil Wickham played some classic favorites and even taught the crowd some new songs as well. Wickham and his band led an hour-filled praise and worship time ending in the song “Everlasting God.” His passion for music and the lesson of the ability to reach God through music will not be soon forgotten as fans new and old hold this chapel in their memories.

Take a look at the slideshow for a closer look into this special chapel event.
