The Biola women’s basketball team overcame an early deficit to cruise to a 77-63 victory against The Master’s College Mustangs Tuesday night. The Eagles’ “big three,” seniors Jennifer French, Christina Barclay, and Jessilyn Conicelli, were extremely productive.

French led the team in scoring with 24 points. Barclay poured in 14 of her 22 points in the first half, and Conicelli recorded yet another double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

The Eagles found themselves down in the closing minutes of the first half, but a three pointer by French at the end of the period gave the Eagles a 41-40 lead at halftime. The Eagles continued to expand their lead in the second half, outscoring the Mustangs 14-2 in fast break points.

Biola’s next game will be against San Diego Christian in an away game on February 12. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
