Ashley Grams is a broadcast journalism major with a Spanish minor dreaming about working for ESPN. She is passionate about finding good gluten-free food & meeting new people.
Hi there! My name is Ashley Grams and I grew up in a small town north of Seattle in Washington, so far north in fact that many people resort to saying we live in Canada. In Washington I spent most of my time playing soccer, tennis or watching some other sport. My passion for athletics led me to dream about working for ESPN or FOX Sports in the future. As a freshman at Biola I am pursuing broadcast journalism in hopes of becoming the next Erin Andrews. In addition to my major, I am also a Spanish minor. I am fascinated by the way people bridge cultures and tell stories. Learning another language fuels my ability to connect with others!
Last semester I freelanced for the sports section of the Chimes and I am more than happy to write as a staff member this semester. I enjoy the challenge of communicating effectively with a joyful heart, not to mention watching tons of games on campus! Outside of the Chimes you might find me playing intramural sports, eating gluten-free bagels or lounging in the California sun with my friends.
